STUDENT'S VOICE

Impressions of students who come to study IELTS Course with NEW CAMBRIDGE

Testimonials

Ms. Sarochinee Paweenawat (IELTS 8.0)

I believe half of the IELTS preparation process comes from practice and the other half comes from exam technique and feedback from the teacher. New Cambridge offers everything I mentioned. The classroom atmosphere is quite comfortable for me. Teacher pays attention to students and is always willing to help. Also, the Self-Access Centre (SAC) is actually useful. I can practice Reading and Listening skills by myself after class, and I can just submit my writing homework in the submission box too. I get a lot of advice from the Speaking Club which makes me feel more confident. The staff here are nice and friendly. I like the overall New Cambridge service.

Mr. Wichayuth Lerthiranrat (IELTS 7.0, Speaking 7.5)

I was recommended from a friend who successfully achieved a high IELTS band to study IELTS at New Cambridge Institute. I enrolled in Key Skills course which allowed me to be familiar with the structure of IELTS exam papers. I was able to identify my strongest and weakest ability in doing the IELTS exam after the course had finished.

Apart from the well equipped class and skillful instructors, the SAC (Self Access Centre) facilities assisted me to achieve a high IELTS band. I spent my time after class practising all skills and reading books in the library. In other words, this gave me a great deal of confidence for doing the exam.

All staff here were friendly and helpful with a great service mind attitude. They gave me advice and suggestions on the courses which suited me before I made the decision to enroll, as a newbie to IELTS, I was very impressed by them. I believe that I will study in the UK with great success and I give the credit to New Cambridge for being a part of this.

Testimonials (Study Abroad)

Naparin Tharnthanakun MA Sociology, University of Kent

“The right choice, the right destination” Once I realized that I wanted to study in the UK, I took IELTS courses with New Cambridge Institute. Then, I saw Study Abroad Consultancy department. So, I dropped by and asked for advice. I was well looked after by all the consultants, they advised me on  being a strong applicant, what course modules they offered, and everything that a student should know. What the Study Abroad Consultants advised me was very constructive, and I could imagine the real picture of being in the UK as all consultants have studied and lived abroad before.

I am currently doing my MA in Sociology at the University of Kent. The university provides fully equipped lecture theatres and facilities. The way of learning here is different from where I used to study. A couple of times, I have contacted the consultants for some guidance. They were more than happy to help me even I am here in the UK already and I was very  impressed.

Nattawadee Boonwattanopas

MSc International Business, University of South Australia

“The new great experience in life” Studying abroad has been one of my dreams since I was young. When it came the time to make a decision where to go, it was a big hassle for me. I had no clue about courses, fees, countries and visa application and so on. I heard of the reputation of New Cambridge Consultancy from one of my friends, who used their service before. So, I decided to seek some help from them.  I was very impressed with their services. There was a wide range of institutes for me to choose from. I received good advice from New Cambridge Study Abroad Team on how to live and study in Australia. I found that helped a lot as I knew exactly what to expect.

The University of South Australia was the one I chose as it is famous for its Business Management Programme. I was not disappointed at all as I liked Adelaide a lot.

Honestly, studying abroad can be challenging but it  can widen your horizon with great new experiences. Coping with new environment is a great experience which should be encountered once in a life time.

I also took IELTS courses with New Cambridge and they really paid off. I got a really good score afterwards. Finally I chose The University of East Anglia because of its renowned Management Programme.I enjoyed London a lot since the city has very good transportation systems and I was stunned by London’s beautiful landmarks.

I gained many new interesting experiences from the summer camp in New Zealand. I got to meet new friends from different countries, so I learnt the different cultures as well. I was impressed by how good the host family took care of me. Overall my trip to New Zealand not only gave me improved English language skills, but also an exciting experience and warm welcome from everyone. More importantly, I would like to thank New Cambridge staff for taking such good care of us for the whole trip. She worked very hard to look after 8 kids and everything went well. If I have got another chance, I surely would go to summer camp with New Cambridge.

Ms. Ingamon Jamikorn  15 years old

Kasetsart University Laboratory School Center for Educational Research and Development

EC Cambridge, UK

At first I hesitated to join the summer camp organized by New Cambridge because I was scared of speaking English by myself. However, I totally changed my mind after I went to the Cambridge summer camp. It was great fun. I got to do many things by myself such as traveling inside and outside of the city. I also made new friends that I still keep in contact with. New Cambridge staff took very great care of me and made me feel secure. I experienced new and different cultures; for example, having a local dish and learning how British people live. A month in Cambridge was very worthwhile and beneficial for me – my English and social skills are really much better now.
