Studying here has helped
me save a lot of time in my
preparation. I gained a lot of
vocabulary and techniques for
the IELTS test. In the classroom,
I was able to practise and
simulate the exam environment,
which was just like the real exam.
Here, I got to practise for all 4
test components just like the
real exam because the OTP
system has more than 2,000
questions to practise with. I was
also able to get feedback on my
Writing and Speaking from a
native-speaker teacher, who
gave me guidance on how to
improve.
After my lessons with a native-
speaker teacher, I feel much
more confident about the IELTS
exam. I was able to achieve a
score of 8.0 because I learned
writing and speaking techniques
with a clear, direct structure that
answered the questions
effectively. It was an experience
that truly helped develop my
English language skills.
I feel like New Cambridge
is a convenient place to study.
It helped me become more
familiar with the IELTS exam
format and gave me a deeper
understanding of the core
concepts of the test. Learning
how to structure my writing
correctly has made me feel
much more confident.
I’ve studied here twice. The first
time, I was getting a 6.5 in my
practice tests, but I achieved
a 7.0 on the actual exam. Before
starting my second course,
I took the test again on my own
and got the same score,
so I decided to come back.
This time, I achieved my target
score of 8.0. I was aiming for a
high score to apply for a
university exchange programme
abroad, so I had high expectations.
I want to use my score to
study at a university in Canada.
My school offered IELTS
preparation, but it didn’t go
deep enough. I chose to study
here because the teachers here
deeply cover the structure and
consistently suggest how to
improve essay writing in the
Writing part.
