A-Level Examinations
Students who wish to enter British universities are normally required to have passed at least three A-Level subjects (in addition to five IGCSE passes). AS-Levels have half the content of the corresponding A-Level and may be completed in one year. However, for completion of just AS-Level and not A-Level, students would be awarded half of the credit they get for A-Level.
